I was impressed by QBCC having visited them initially as part of a car club trip. Examples of their work looked very good and discussing options with Paul and Rod (who visited me and the MGC early in the process) built up my confidence to the point where I chose to give them the job.

Rod and Dennis did a superb job. I had achieved good (better than new) panel gaps on doors, wings and bonnet but they still managed to improve on one or two of these slightly. Dennis also made a fine job of repairing the leading edge of the bonnet where some corrosion became apparent after the paint was fully removed. Their attention to detail was very good with the degree work carried out and the masking of already completed components exactly as we had discussed.

“Quest Brothers has serviced and maintained my Ford Capri for the past three years.  The car has had major service work done on the brakes including replacing all the pipes, discs, master cylinder and servo.  In 2016 the car underwent a major restoration of the bodywork by Dennis which included extensive welding repairs to inner wings, valance and scuttle panel.  Second hand genuine Ford wings were painstakingly fitted in place of poor-standard pattern parts. 

 Paul, Steve, Dennis and Hazel are a fantastic team who offer a friendly custom service for your car at very reasonable cost.  You are welcomed into the workshop to keep up to date on progress and they always seem to go that extra mile to help.  Minor corrective work was fixed without argument or hassle afterwards.  I can highly recommend them to look after your cherished vehicle, no matter how old or valuable.”

I first approached Quest when I purchased my 1974 Corvette. All too often in specialist garages the 'I'm the mechanic and I know best' stance prevails, but not at Quest Brothers.  I've owned my Lotus for almost 30 years and know it pretty much inside out.  Sometimes however, for whatever reason I need some help.  Paul & Stephen were more than happy to talk things over, consider options, rule things in and rule things out and then get their hands dirty.  But the proof of the pudding is that they then got the car up and running, maybe not perfectly first time around, but certainly in the end, much to the delight of both the two of them and to me!

Behind the scenes, Hazel provides excellent support; 'phone calls and emails to the office are always returned, which is not the case with everyone! My experiences to date have been highly satisfactory."
